Colfax Canvas
A district-wide celebration featuring live music, freshly finished murals,
and all the energy of ACAD's First Friday, amplified.
August 29 – September 4, muralists will be painting live throughout the district. Watch the walls transform all week, then celebrate the finished work with us at the party on
September 4, from 4 - 11pm.

Dia de los muertos
At Civic Center Park
On Saturday, October 24th, Día de los Muertos at Civic Center, presented by Denver Botanic Gardens, will bring community together as a collective to honor the presence of our ancestors and loved ones who have passed, in reverence and celebration.
Civic Center Conservancy supports the vision of local curator, community builder, and founder of Manos Sagrados, Alicia “Bruce” Trujillo, who is serving as Artistic and Cultural Director. Under the direction of Manos Sagrados’ team, Colorful Colorado Collaborations and Kalpulli Calli Tecpatl will collaborate on this event to bring a unique and memorable celebration of life and transition, that includes community altars, art installations, music and dance, a tianguis/marketplace, Mexican & Latin American food trucks, family-friendly activities, and a sunset procession around a centered, community ofrenda.
The event is free and open to the public to share in remembrance and festivity, from noon to 7p!

We are currently seeking a variety of vendors to participate in this year’s event. Space is limited. All who complete this interest form by September 30, 2026, will be considered for the event and followed up with via email. Those selected will need to complete an additional registration process to verify your business licenses and to collect vendor fees.
This form will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
