On Saturday, October 24th, Día de los Muertos at Civic Center, presented by Denver Botanic Gardens, will bring community together as a collective to honor the presence of our ancestors and loved ones who have passed, in reverence and celebration.

Civic Center Conservancy supports the vision of local curator, community builder, and founder of Manos Sagrados, Alicia “Bruce” Trujillo, who is serving as Artistic and Cultural Director. Under the direction of Manos Sagrados’ team, Colorful Colorado Collaborations and Kalpulli Calli Tecpatl will collaborate on this event to bring a unique and memorable celebration of life and transition, that includes community altars, art installations, music and dance, a tianguis/marketplace, Mexican & Latin American food trucks, family-friendly activities, and a sunset procession around a centered, community ofrenda. 

The event is free and open to the public to share in remembrance and festivity, from noon to 7p!
