Manos Sagrados is hosting a free Baby Clothing/Gear Swap and Resource fair for current and upcoming caregivers of children up to 1 year old. This is a critical time for support of caregivers to have community wrap around them. There will be doulas, body workers, herbalists, and many more to learn alongside. It is for children up to 1 year/4T clothing, accessories, and gear (items that are not expired/damaged and cleaned for play, mobility, sleep, development, etc). People are also encouraged to bring clothing or accessory items that otherwise can’t be donated for this reason as well (damaged, stained, etc) for textile up/downcycling. Let’s avoid those textiles going to the landfill!

Luna is offering meet up options for donations for folks who cannot attend the event but still want to release the weight of some of their unworn items (contact at lunarey23@gmail.com). We are looking for community partners in the East Colfax area near Manos to be drop off locations over the next few weeks to support the accessibility of the event, please let Luna know if your business would be interested in learning more about this opportunity!
