CHANCHA VIA CIRCUITO

Argentinian producer Pedro Canale has been working on Chancha Vía Circuito, a musical project that has allowed him to travel the world and put his mark on what is now known as latinamerican electronic music, since 2006. His catchy sound transformed him into a notable reference for a new generation of artists. His new album, Oro En Ti, features Sofía Viola, and he produced the latest album from Lido Pimienta, Carybena, out now. Fusion of electronic music and cumbia is key factor of Chancha Vìa Circuito’s music. He explores the minimal side of digital cumbia with inspiration from Afro-dance, murgas, minimal dub, IDM, and downtempo. Computer bleeps share sonic space with folkloric chant. Candombe drums are accompanied by the sample of a machete splicing the air and a vocal line of indigenous bebop is layered over hints of dub.

EL JAGUAR DE LA MUERTE

El Jaguar de La Muerte is an alt-Latino music producer carving out a bold, new space in the world of cumbia sonidera digital. Drawing inspiration from Mexico City's street sound systems and the deep basslines of classic sonidero culture, El Jaguar de la Muerte blends hypnotic rhythms with modern electronic textures, creating a sound that's raw, nostalgic, and undeniably danceable.

Known for layering chopped-up accordion loops, echo-drenched vocals, and heavy low-end with urban and experimental influences, El Jaguar de la Muerte reimagines sonidero not just as a genre, but as a movement. Their productions nod to the roots of cumbia sonidera while twisting it through a futuristic lens, bridging barrios, dancefloors, and digital landscapes.

Whether remixing old-school tracks or crafting original cuts for underground parties and block-party speakers, El Jaguar de la Muerte brings the spirit of the sonidero crew into a new era.
