On October 25, Día de los Muertos at Civic Center, sponsored by Denver Botanic Gardens, will bring our community together as a collective to honor the presence of our ancestors and loved ones who have passed. This free, family-friendly event allows our community to reflect on having a greater cultural understanding of death as a common human experience.
Civic Center Conservancy supports the vision of local curator, community builder, and owner of Manos Sagrados, Alicia “Bruce” Trujillo, who is serving as Artistic and Cultural Director. Under the direction of Manos Sagrados’ team, Colorful Colorado Collaborations and D3 Arts will collaborate on this event to bring a unique, memorable, and authentic celebrations including:
Community Altars
Art Installations
Live Music & Dance Performances
Artisan Marketplace
Traditional Mexican & Latin American food & beverage
Community Ofrenda
And more!
